Blitz Day! The Other Man

The Other Man Tour

It’s Blitz Day Again! Join me as my contemporary drama title,  The Other Man, goes on mini-tour today! Amazingly enough, there are times when I’ve writen more literary stories, and this is one of them. That’s right, not everything with me has to be dark and creepy, or involve blood, fairies, vampires, zombies, demonic Christmas henchmen, or possessed shoes. Those just help. This title explores the different types of feelings that accompany relationships, as well as the disappointment that comes with realizing that sometimes what you expect to happen with your life just doesn’t turn out the way you’d hoped. There’s still some humorous moments, and there’s some nice asides about music, but at it’s core, The Other Man is about relationships, and all the extra people that sometimes seep into them. I’m really proud of this short story, so I’d love for you to follow along and check it out!

And think of it this way…if you’re single and was frustrated by the holiday yesterday, here’s your chance to feel validated after reading this title, heh.

The Other Man will be featured at the following sites today:

All Andrew wanted was the typical American dream: a good career, a nice house, and a typical loving family. Instead he has a menial job, a small apartment, and children that remind him of creatures out of a sci-fi movie. To add insult to injury, he’s well aware that he’s not the only man that inhabits his wife’s thoughts and daily life. But how can he put up a fight when he’s reminded of the competition every time Bethany turns on the CD player? After one eventful dinner conversation when expectations, disappointments, and secrets collide, life may never be the same
